Pumps: Aussie Success at CivEnEx

Australian Pump Industries reported first class results from this year’s CivEnEx show. Maybe it was the rainy weather and the mud, but big dewatering pumps like the huge Aussie MQ600TD 6″ trash pump attracted huge interest.
The Aussie Pump stand also had a range of hot and cold pressure cleaners, self priming centrifugal pumps and even drain cleaners. The star of the show was a big 6″ Aussie Deutz powered dewatering pump with it’s ability to pump solids in suspension at up to 6,000 litres per minute!
“The pump attracted a lot of interest from shire councils, civil engineers, and even the military” said Aussie Pumps’ Ali Hamade. “Customers like it’s huge capacity, high head and O H & S friendly features” he said.
The big 6″ pump has a 46 metre maximum head. It’s self priming design enables it to draught water from depths of as low as 7.6 metres. It features a front opening port that enables the operator to clean out the pump bowl in seconds where necessary.
Other features include a shock mounted water resistant control panel that includes hour meter, ammeter, tachometer and alternator failure lights. The unit is powered by a Deutz F4L914 60 HP diesel engine and comes on a trailer mount with centre mounted lifting bar.
The big 6″ trash pump also offers integrated safety shutdown for low oil pressure, oil temperature and V belt failure.
Other products featured at the show included the Aussie Hydro Tek portable steam cleaners, in both petrol and diesel engine drive.
“These Aussie Hydro Teks are available at very good prices, and suit council or earthmoving contractor applications” said Hamade. “They enable contractors to clean, and if necessary sterilize equipment in the field without having to use generators or plug into electric power,” he said.
Aussie industrial wet/dry vacs were also popular units with visitors, impressed by their abilities to clean up spills in workshops and office applications.
“Our visitors book is full, and we have loads of great enquiries as a result of this excellent show” said Hamade.
