Model: Aussie QP1 GX25 pump
A new four stroke, ultra lightweight self priming pump has been released by Australian Pump Industries. Although the pump weighs only 5.3 kgs, its’ performance is an astonishing 40 metres head with a maximum flow of 120 litres per minute!
Called the Aussie Quick Prime model QP1 GX25, the new pump is powered by a Honda lightweight four stroke, advanced design model GX25 engine. The GX25 engine develops 1 HP and represents a high tech approach to engine design. Honda offer a full three year warranty on the GX25 engine from their national dealer network.
“Matching the Honda engine to our high performance pump head provides a unique combination of performance and flow” said Aussie Pumps’ Product Manager Brad Farrugia. “The pump is super versatile and able to perform emergency spot fire mop up, water transfer or even personal protection for fire fighters,” he said.
The Aussie QP1 GX25 is fitted with Nitrile seals which make it suitable for diesel fuel transfer applications as well.
Like all Aussie Quick Prime pumps, the new model has excellent self priming characteristics, enabling it to self prime from depths of eight metres! “That means users can draw water from wells or bores from as deep as eight metres, or suck water from creeks or streams where high suction lift is required,” Farrugia said.
The Aussie Quick Prime QP1 GX25 comes mounted on heavy duty steel skids with anti vibration mounts and with a convenient carry handle. A hose coupling and strainer kit is also included as standard equipment.
The Aussie QP1 GX25 is the smallest in the Aussie line up of self priming pumps which range from 1” to impressive 6” pumps. All Aussie QP pumps come complete with a five year pump end warranty that is unique to Australian Pump Industries.
