Come Clean at AgQuip

Aussie Pumps products will be displayed by NFS Agribusiness at AgQuip 2012. The Gunnedah based business with be promoting the new Aussie Scud Farm Wash down pressure cleaners this year.

“Increasing awareness of disease transmission by vehicles and machinery has farmers approaching us for solutions,” said NFS’ Michael Casey. “The new Aussie Scud AB40 4,000 psi pressure cleaner has been designed with farmers in mind. Washing down dirty vehicles before moving them reduces the risk of introducing unwanted pests and weeds onto properties,” he said.

The Aussie AB 40 Scud is designed to give farmers a great valve machine that delivers on performance and quality. It is powered by a genuine Honda 13HP engine and has a heavy duty Bertolini triplex pump providing 4,000 psi pressure.

To cut water usage on difficult jobs, the machine can be teamed with an Aussie Turbo lance that boosts effective working pressure to 6,000 psi. That ensures de-contamination is carried out faster while using less water.

NFS will also be promoting the Aussie Fire Chief high performance engine drive self priming pump.  It boasts a 450 lpm maximum flow and offers delivery heads in the standard single impeller version of up to 75 metres.  That’s over 100 psi!

“With record winter growth fire authorities are urging the public to prepare for a potentially disastrous fire season this year. With these capabilities the Aussie Fire Chief can be used to protect key farming assets as part of a property protection plan,” he said.

With a unique 5 year pump end warranty, the product is built without design or engineering compromise.  “Its big belly body and huge impeller allows more water through the pump, providing excellent flow/pressure characteristics” says Casey. “It can be put to use around the farm on a wide range of pumping chores including spray irrigation, moving water between dams and even washing down stock yards and spray equipment,” he said.

NFS will also be promoting the Aussie “Smart Pump”, while providing expert application advice to farmers on the handling of agricultural spray chemicals and fertilizers.

The use of liquid fertilizer for broadacre farming has revolutionised production resulting in major improvements in crop quality and quantity. NFS claim that the poly Smart Pump, a 30% glass filled polyester pump has helped to change the way chemicals are used in modern day farming.

“The ability of the Aussie Smart Pump to handle corrosive liquid, liquid fertiliser and other agricultural chemicals with ease, makes it perfect for farm use” says NFS’ Michael Casey. The Aussie 2” Poly pump has a 6.5HP Honda engine and is backed by the unbeatable Aussie 5 year warranty. NFS understands the need for reliable and robust pumps that are able to handle liquid fertiliser to improve crop yields and quality.

The Aussie poly pump in it’s 2” configuration, is capable of producing up to 835 litres per minute flow, and heads as high as 37 metres. Stainless steel fasteners are standard equipment and EPDM o-rings, check valves and other elastomers suitable for most ag chemical liquid applications are a standard option. Viton seals are available for even more caustic chemicals.

NFS, who are proud Aussie Pumps Gold Dealers, are being supported by Aussie Pumps’ Dean Fountain. He will be available to help show visitors pump selection, set up and provide general pump advice.
