| Here at Australian Pump Industries, we build, supply and support products designed specifically for some
of Australia's most important defence assets. Our involvement relates to essential services on board RAN vessels, for water supply, damage control, fuel and even combat systems. Our technical collaboration with major international specialist manufacturers and system designers, allied with our continuous investment in staff training, both here and overseas, provides us with a unique capability to install, service, maintain and offer through life support for key defence assets. An in house design capability has produced products that are designed specifically for defence users and include pressure cleaners, portable diesel pumps for either fuel or salt water handling, potable water pumps for army tankers and a wide range of other products unique to defence requirements. In turn, the uncompromising standards set by defence customers has had a very positive effect on our commercial business, lifting quality standards to well above industrial norms. Australian Pump has played a key role in the cost effective support of Australia's key fleet elements, including FFG and Anzac class frigates, LPA support ships, Armidale patrol boats and other “afloat” RAN vessels. Fluid System Support Australian Pump has forged intellectual partnerships with the world's major MilSpec pump and valve manufacturers, providing full technical and service support. Electrical and Combat System Support Australian Pump works with the world's leaders in marine electrical power components, through a representative agreement with L3 Corporation.
